Dog Training in Scarborough and Durham Region including Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa
Juliet Prey
Growing up on a farm, I have raised and cared for animals my entire life. I have especially always loved working with dogs. Prior to becoming a trainer, I was an ICU nurse in a downtown Toronto Hospital. My passion for helping people and their pets is part of my empathetic nature and genuine concern for others' wellbeing. When I am not training, I enjoy being in nature and spending time with my family and our dog, Zoe!
Also Serving: Uxbridge, Bowmanville, Clarington
Contact JulietWhat I love about my job
It is so rewarding to see the stress and anxiety melt away for both the dogs and humans. I love being able to help them live better lives together. Time and time again, I have seen what a difference Bark Busters training makes, particularly with stressful issues like leash aggression or separation anxiety. I love what I do!
Why I became a trainer
I’ve always been a huge animal lover and fascinated by their behaviour. My career path as a nurse was rewarding but I started feeling burnt out and decided to pursue my lifelong passion of working with animals. Bark Busters has provided me with ongoing training and support so that I can make this dream a reality. By doing so I’ve also been able to help hundreds of owners and their dogs
My areas of expertise include:
- Puppy training
- Separation anxiety in dogs
- Stopping excessive barking
- Dog aggression and aggression toward humans
- Leash training, including leash pulling
- Stopping dogs from jumping on people
- Food aggression in dogs and resource guarding
- Reactive dog training
- General obedience training
- And more...
