Meet Liza Fournier
For the past eight years, I’ve volunteered as a Therapy Dog handler with my dogs Monty and Sasha, bringing comfort and emotional support to my community. But my true calling runs deeper. After a successful career as a trusted Realtor helping families achieve their dreams of home ownership, I stepped into the role that has defined my entire life: being a Canine Behaviour Therapist and Trainer. Dogs aren’t just what I do; they’re who I am.
Over my lifetime, I’ve shared my life with 12 dogs, from rescues to purebreds, and each one has taught me invaluable lessons about behaviour, resilience, and potential. I’ve experienced the full spectrum: joy, struggles, setbacks, and breakthroughs. Through it all, one belief has remained constant: every dog has the potential to be their very best when we truly understand them. My journey has involved countless hours of research, hands-on learning, and humbling moments that shaped my philosophy. True success comes from partnership, not perfection. When I discovered Bark Busters, everything aligned. The proven, personalised approach matched my core belief that dogs learn best in their own environment through clear, calm communication they instinctively understand.
As a Behaviour Therapist and Trainer, I specialise in helping owners see beyond the challenges to understand what their dogs truly need. I know firsthand that every dog owner faces struggles, and I’m here to walk that journey with you. When I’m not training, you might meet Monty and me out in the community, continuing our volunteer work and making a difference one interaction at a time.
I’m here to help you build a phenomenal, lifelong relationship with your dog, one based on trust, respect, and understanding.
