As a North Shore resident, it is my pleasure and privilege to serve the people and dogs of my community and throughout the Whistler, Sea to sky, Sunshine Coast and Vancouver East Areas.

If you are like me, you envision your dog as being an extension of your family. A companion to share long walks with or to keep you company during quiet evenings at home. You picture yourself relaxing on the patio of your favourite coffee shop, secure and content in the knowledge that “Rover” is lying quietly at your feet. Yes, these are dreams that most dog lovers share but at no time do our dreams include seeing our pet as the source of stress in our household and relationships.

If you sit in fear of the doorbell ringing, awaiting your mail delivery, entertaining friends in your home or having the neighbourhood kids play in your backyard then I venture to say that you are probably not enjoying your dog and neither you, nor your dog, are getting the most out of your life together. If your leisurely walks have turned into a constant worry about running into another dog along the trail, then chances are you’ve traded your joy of walking for an obligatory race around the block, or worse yet, no walk at all. In all these instances, your dog has assumed control of your household, social life, and happiness but relax... help is just a phone call away.

As a proud supporter of the SPCA, I have witnessed the sad consequences of strained relationships between families and their dogs but with Bark Busters I have experienced, first hand, the astounding results produced by just one lesson. I have seen owners all but convinced that their dog has been switched with a well-behaved imposter turning a family’s worst nightmare, into man’s best friend.
