Dear David,
I would just like to thank you for your help. Our house is so incredibly
calm now. I can honestly say that having you come was the best choice
I have ever made. Rustle has completely stopped barking at the windows
and has not jumped on anyone since you were at the house. Lilly has a
new found confidence, I agree with you that the fear she has will probably
never completely go away but she is not so fearful. I have made a point
of taking her in the car when I go up town and I have stopped to take
her out of the car and just let her sit and watch people going by. It
is hard for her but it is getting better. At home when people come over
she is making the attempt to come close and check them out. I have made
it a habit to make them wait at the door and the gate and it works every
time. Now I can open the gate to go through with lawn mower and they don't
bolt past, they sit and wait and don't even move if I don't tell them
to....
Rustle is enjoying his new roll. He seems more content with letting me
be in control. I think it's funny because now he is always looking at
me for instruction. He is quiet and seems more content.
I had company the other day and the lady that was there said what nice
dogs I had. :)
Thank you so much,
Michelle B.
Hi Leah,
I can't believe the difference in the dogs. Here's a little run down.
Cloey started barking in her crate at 3:45 AM. One BAH from me upstairs
and she was quiet.
When we woke up there was no barking from her. I went down stairs, opened
her crate and called her out. Using BAH I walked ahead of her down the
hallway and through the door to let her out. Her demeanour has been similar
to last night. It has been nice not having her
at my feet constantly, and she has been calmer with Jack too.
Ashley had been out this AM to physio, and when she returned Cloey was
in her usual position that she would have barked at her coming home, but
she just looked at me and watched Ashley and was quiet!
Jack has been great too...I put him on his leash, and then managed to
get him downstairs with me going ahead of him and out the door. I had
him off downstairs (having his leash attached for my comfort) I then called
him upstairs and had him off up there. I fed him and there was no jumping
and carrying on. As I am sitting here at the computer - he is not making
a peep! All in all, I am amazed..I am really excited to have control with
the dogs in our home and a better relationship with them. Thank you so
much... Sue - Susan C.
Bark Busters guided my family
and myself towards a happier dog and happier us as well in the process!
Rob has been great and the time he spent with us and Mushu taught us a
lot -- about ourselves and the dog world. After our training, it's been
more of a joy to see that Mushu is more relaxed now and obedient. Despite
his stubborn streak, the Bark Buster way has remained very effective in
our day-to-day activities with him. Thanks Rob!!!!

I just wanted to let you know how
stoked I am after our session today. After you left, Libby and I had a
siesta...and yes, she was on the floor. We had a great controlled walk
following that for about 45 minutes. During that time we walked up onto
the dyke at a spot where there are stairs and someone was walking their
large muscular dog off leash on the dyke. The dog was at the top of the
stairs that we were approaching and it was intimidating for me!. Libby
was great, she was focused on me. I know my corrections should have been
better, maybe quicker, and a little more fluid. but I get it
I believe that sometimes people don't get enough positive reinforcement,
so let me be one of the many I am sure to say THANK YOU for your insights,
for sharing your knowledge, for changing our lives for the better.

All
I can say is wow...I thought that Dakota was feeling the way he was due
to his job leaving him, but as it turned out he just HAD to be by my side
to protect me because he was the Alpha-male. Now I have a better understanding
that it is me who needs to be the Alpha-male and his behavior has started
to greatly improve...I have nothing but great expectations. Thanks Bark
Busters. - Carla P. - July 2009
Our
trainer, Derek, was punctual, clear in his instructions, and understandable
to all members of our family (including our kids AND the dog). We are
now aware of the boundaries a good 'alpha' sets and our dog is learning
how to be a member of our 'pack' within those boundaries. After Derek's
first 3 hours with us, the change was immediate and our home has not been
this quiet in four years! - Jne L. - July 2009
Amazing. Kevin was
absolutely incredible. I am very happy - Carley B. - June 2009
This was an incredibly
enjoyable and informative afternoon as Kevin took me through the paces
to help me train my dog. Kevin took my concerns and questions seriously
and he made certain that I understood his answers before moving on. Kevin
has an easy way about him - he was very relaxed and laughed often, making
this a fun experience.
I am happy to say that my dog Pepin learned his new commands very quickly
and he now appears happy to obey me. He is no longer in charge of me,
I am in charge of him. I am sure that within 6 weeks Pepin will be ready
to be tested as a Therapy Dog (my goal for him) and I feel confident that
he will pass with flying colours!! I only have good things to say about
Kevin and Bark Busters and I have already told my friends about this wonderful
and unique program. Thank you Kevin for all of your help. - Linda

Very enlightening
on how a dog's mind works and how we play a part in it. I found that even
though we had to be the 'Alpha' I never felt that my dog was in any way
being abused either mentally or physically. I have been in obedience type
training and I feel that Bark Busters' training would be more successful
as they work with the mind of your pet and not just making them 'behave
on a leash'. I am very impressed and my pet was even well behaved the
first night with only one little correction from me. Thank you Kevin &
Bark Busters.

Hi Ron - Thanks again for
the wonderful job you've done on Joey! I knew you'd taught him a lot but
when I got up the next morning I thought "Sure, Joey was good when
Ron was here but he won't do those things for me." Much to my surprise,
he stopped barking the minute I growled at him and walked beside me just
like a little gentleman. I couldn't believe it! I'm so very impressed!
I've been telling everyone. The Shaw tech who came yesturday was also
impressed when I told him what Joey had learned. He saw for himself how
I could stop Joey from barking He said he'd phone you. I hope he does.
My neighbor was interested also when she saw how I could handle the dog.
Again thanks for all your help.

The presentation was most
enlightening! We had lots of fun during the training session! Thanks so
much Ron! - Amy L. - December 2008
Great Service - Great explanations

forward to continued improvement. - Mike H - December 2008
Thank you
Ron for helping my girlfriend and myself learn how to communicate with
our dog Bruce. Bruce is a 3yr old, 4 pound Chihuahua who pulled on the
leash and would not come when called. This challenged us daily and created
a lot of nervous scenarios at the park or walking on the street. We had
fears that one day Bruce may run into the street and be run over because
he wouldn’t come when called. We heard about Bark Busters and you
through a friend and decided to give it a shot.
You came to our house and explained the Bark Busters philosophy and how
to properly communicate with Bruce and how to take charge. After a few
hours Bruce was no longer pulling and came to us on command. We have learned
that we need to take responsibilities and that consistency is the key
to our success. Now we have fun times at the park and worry free walks…
Thank you Ron - Keith R. - July 2008
