Dec. 5, 2007 - SPCA International Announces the Best of the Best Awards
SPCA International Announces the Best of the Best Awards . Best of the Best Awards Recognize Excellence in Pet-Care Products and Services NEW YORK, December 4 – SPCA International (www.spcai.org) announced today the first winners of their 2008 Best of the Best awards, which distinguish top products and services in different animal-related categories.
SPCA International knows that pet parents have many options when it comes to services, programs and products designed for their companion animals. We have sought to identify what we consider the Best of the Best in each category. To be designated SPCA Best of the Best, the services, goods or programs must be of high quality and offer exceptional value – as determined by a panel of animal expert consultants. We exercise great care in determining the Best of the Best and we hope you will take the opportunity to explore our selections. We are sure you will agree that your four-legged family members deserve the Best of the Best.
“Of all the products and services reviewed, the programs selected are examples of companies going above and beyond to give consumers their animal companions the highest-quality services and products. SPCA stands beside them 100 percent,” said Stephanie Scroggs, SPCA Director of Communications. “While there are alternatives, these are the Best of the Best and we encourage consumers to give them a try. Many may even save your pet’s life.”
The mission of SPCA International is to raise awareness of the abuse of animals to a global level, to teach and foster good pet parenting practices, and to promote spay and neuter programs around the world with the goal of eradicating the need to euthanize healthy and adoptable companion animals.
www.spcai.org also provides a global information and referral resource to animal guardians and advocates throughout the world to those who seek a shelter or wish to adopt a shelter animal.
