Dog Name: Mika
Dog Age: 2 Yrs.
Dog Breed: Weimaraner
Behaviour issues:
Separation anxiety, excessive barking in house and yard, aggressive barking at dogs and strangers, fearful.
Mika is a fairly shy dog that does not like surprises and new things. Mika had moderate separation anxiety. She would bark at anything. It got to the point where walking became a problem and Mika was gradually becoming aggressive. No bites yet, but it was coming.
Mika was also known to bolt out the front door out to the street and commence a chase game with the neighbours.
I was also the 3rd trainer.
Outcome Descriptions:
After the first session, Mika was much happier knowing her place in the pack. She was much more relaxed, calm, quiet and the family enjoyed her much more. The house is also a home based business with several staff working there daily. The constant barking as clients and staff came and went stopped and the walks became a joy rather than an ordeal.
At our second visit, we were able to walk past two dogs without blinking an eye at the other dogs and later we had the front door open talking to each other and Mika was quite happy to stay in the house with no interest in leaving the den.
Wendy was quite happy to report that several couriers came to the house and Mika was very accepting of that. No fuss, no barking.
Client Comment / Review:
After only two days, we have seen a huge change in her behaviour. She obeys and she is a joy to have around. I feel I have control over my dog finally, and Rob is a very knowledgeable and helpful trainer.
