Behaviour issues:
Possessiveness over owners and toys, dog correcting the owners, excessive barking, jumping up, and pulling on lead, patrolling the yard.
Vinnie was behaving aggressively to any visitor that came to the door. In fact he would not let us show any physical attention towards each other or even our daughters, Vinny didn’t like anyone hugging! Vinny also pulled tremendously on the leash. Taking him for a walk was not enjoyable and as a result his walks became less and less frequent.
Outcome Descriptions:
Vinny was educated on what the expectation is when people arrive to visit and we established control at the door the moment when guests arrived and this resulted in an immediate cessation to his aggressive behaviour and within three hours we were so thrilled with Vinny progress and even saw that walking him was fun again. You could just see the relief in Vinny and being so excited about Vinnys progress I asked them to celebrate and to go ahead and hug each other – in front of Vinny – they did, Vinny didn’t bark and he passed the ultimate test.

After the lesson I was so thrilled and proud and no longer embarrassed because I felt that total sense of control with Vinny and knowing that David is our trainer gives us the confidence to keep going as we have his support
