Sandra I.

Trainer(s): Bill Lawson

Dog Name:  Max

Dog Age:  6 mos.

Dog Breed:  Rottweiler

Behaviour issues:

Hyper active, mouthing hands and arms, “climbing” all over people, pulling, whinning, gets into garbage.

Max was a typical over-exuberant pup.  His un-channelled energy was proving to be very frustrating for his owners.  Being a large dog, his behaviours had become unbearable.  He would jump up to shoulder height when he pleased, used hands and arms as “chew toys”, would steal items such as garbage, pull on the leash and whine when separated from his owners.

Outcome Descriptions:

By teaching his owners how to be the leader Max wanted them to be he quickly gave them the respect they desired.  This resulted in a much more calm relaxed dog.

Client Comment / Review:

I must comment on how differently my dog has responded to me. It amazes me. I can see it isn't about the challenge he gives, it is about how I respond to his challenges. I am really confident that I will be able to report great news at the end of 6 weeks of his training. Thank you for showing me exactly what I needed. I am grateful. You have shown us how to get results that even Louie can't argue with. - Sandra I.

I just wanted to give you an update on Max. I really didn't believe that I could do much more with him. But with how you helped me understand, there is so much we have accomplished with Max. He has really done well or should I say I have really done well and now he respects that. I am getting him out past the backyard now and he is doing well. Max responds so much better now. I don't feel so out of control. Thank you so much for equipping me with the knowledge I needed to become a good dog owner/leader. We went away for two days and the people who watched Max were so impressed with his behaviour. I like that. He is a great dog. Thank you again for your time and effort.
