Behaviour issues:
The doorbell initiated the onset of anxiety before the appearance of visitors. Aggressiveness directed towards any visitors to the house, excessive barking, jumping, and harassment of visitors by constantly watching them and following them if they moved.
They had tried several methods, food, muzzles and even a shock collar. He still snarled, and displayed every type of aggressive canine display short of biting which was prevented by physical restraint.
Outcome Descriptions:
No longer in charge of the door, the doorbell has come to mean something different. Max is now able to be comfortable in his spot without policing visitors. He is much calmer and relaxed.
Client Comment / Review:
The change is amazing. He is much more relaxed and calm. He is listening so much better. It seems as though he respects that the front door is not his to answer anymore. It’s a miracle! We had been dealing with this problem for almost 4 years. The stress level in the house has gone WAY down. Everyone is so much happier than before training, including Max.
