Dog Name: Torch
Dog Age: 3 mos.
Dog Breed: Golden Doodle
Behaviour issues:
Excessive nipping of hands and feet, jumping up, pulling on the leash
Torch was training his owners well. He was jumping up on them, table surfing for scraps, barking aggressively at front windows and not happy at all when on walks. Torch liked the texture of the owner’s hands and pant legs for chew toys which was not fun and hindered alot of bonding. Owners complained that Torch would stop and sit down and not let them take him for walks. Torch was in charge of owners at the young age of 3 months.
Outcome Descriptions:
Torch is a work in progress but owners are pleased they know how to communicate with him. The walking has been great, no more dragging and his exercise time has increased dramatically which makes his behaviour even better and more manageable. Torch is needing to be corrected less and less for jumping up, nipping hands and is enjoying his position as a pack member, not a pack leader with his owners.
Client Comment / Review:
The Barkbusters concept is truly amazing. We have a 3 month old Golden Doodle. He did really well when Sherri was here. We do notice a few changes in him. But he is still a puppy. Sherri is coming back to work with us some more to go through what we already went through and more. Thanks Barkbusters for coming up with a way of training dogs in a more humane way!!
