Dog Name:  Charlie

Dog Age:  5 Yrs. 6 Mos.

Dog Breed:  Jack Russell/terrier/daschund mix

Behaviour issues:

People aggression, barking at door and hallway sounds, leash pulling, recall issues, barking obsessively at moving objects – bikes, skateboards, birds/squirrels

Charlie was a rescue dog who came into his new home in Roncessvalles Village - owning it. He marks if he visits other dogs homes, he chews up his own blankets and beds, barks at all moving objects (squirrels & swings to bikes and even other dogs in the water) he barks constantly at the noises in hall and front door and would bark anytime a guest got up or moved in the home. He also has a fear of loud storms and fireworks.

Outcome Descriptions:

By the end of the first lesson Charlie was NO longer interested in the least to bark at the door, let alone even LOOK at it when someone knocked! We even took him for a walk on Roncesvalles Ave to see if the pigeons would set him off but by being proactive we corrected him each time he thought about barking and lunging and stopped it!

Client Comment / Review:

It's going really, really well. My son got a motorized scooter for his birthday, which in the past would have made Charlie go mental. This time though when he looked at it I bah'd him and he turned away. It was awesome! We should definitely do some park stuff when I get back. I'll give you a shout then.
