Behaviour issues:
Separation anxiety, barking, charging the door, nervousness.
Dukey suffered from separation anxiety and was unable to relax when left alone in his crate. In addition, Dukey was a nervous dog which caused him to bark at people passing the house and bark and charge the door when visitors came over. This nervousness also carried outside on Dukey’s walks where he would pull on the leash, become fearful of passing by people and this didn’t allow him to enjoy his time outside on walks.
Outcome Descriptions:
After our session, Dukey was able to relax when left alone, especially in his crate. With the proper communication and leadership, Dukey no longer barks at people passing the house or at visitors coming to the door. This has allowed Dukey to become much more relaxed and he now enjoys his walks outside where he no longer pulls on the leash and is no longer fearful of passing by people. Progress with Dukey is improving every day.

Since Jason came to help us with Dukey’s nervous behavior and issues with charging the door, we’ve received comments like, ‘who stole you old dog and left that polite alien creature at your house?’! We actually have people stop us on the street to tell us how well behaved our dog is. Jason was very patient and listened to our situation and was able to figure out what we were doing that wasn’t helping and gave us lots of suggestions on how to change the behaviour. The change was IMMEDIATE. Jason was very encouraging and motivating. He made me realize that I don’t need to be afraid of situations that trigger Dukey’s nervousness. He gave me the confidence to face them and even search them out so that we could practice. Our home life is much more relaxed and Dukey seems so much happier knowing that we’re in charge. We no longer receive our pizza through a crack in the door! No more chaos when friends come to the door! I highly recommend Jason-he’s the best!
