Lexington suffered from Separation Anxiety. He would bark and howl, tear the bed in his crate apart when left alone. He followed Juli-Ann around the house constantly, barks at other dogs out the window. Juli-Ann is a runner and couldn't leave him alone to go for her early morning run as she was concerned that his barking would wake the neighbours at the early hour she wants to run. She felt bad for the stress Lexington would get himself into. I showed Juli-Ann how to teach Lexington that his concern for her is wrong, that she is a strong leader and can take care of herself, especially when she leaves.
