Jake

Dog Name:  Jake

Dog Age:  1 yr. 6 mos.

Dog Breed:  Pug x Jack Russel Terrier

Behaviour issues:

Barking, jumping up, pulling on the leash with no recall, moderate separation anxiety, mouthing and nipping owners

Jake was barking at charging the front door and jumping all over guests & furniture- even the kitchen table. He expressed moderate separation anxiety when his owners were leaving and as a result one family member would always stay home with him. Jake was easily distracted on walks and would pull in every direction while ignoring his owner.

Outcome Descriptions:

After one lesson, significant progress was made. Through clear ‘canine’ communication and leadership, Jake immediately stopped charging the front door, enjoyed being in his own safe place where he could relax and feel secure. In the next couple of sessions he also showed no further signs of stress when his owner was leaving and was happy to follow, focus and listen to his owner when walking and calling him. Jake does not attempt to jump up or mouth & nip his owners anymore and now shows a lot of respect.

Client Comment / Review:

I saw instant changes in my dogs' behaviour. All he needed was clear direction. The system really does work if you stick to it. I am very thankful!
