Dogs have been a big part of our lives since childhood and we have both been rewarded with the joys of sharing our lives with them. They show unconditional love, loyalty and companionship. However, we know first hand what it feels like to have a dog turn your life upside down.
Several years ago, we adopted “Chance” a dog that had been in a Brampton area pound for 5 months and was considered to be unadoptable. His barking and biting were major issues. He also had health problems as well. In short he was out of control. That's part of the reason he had been surrendered in the first place. The shelter told us we were his last chance. We figured we were up to the challenge. We already had another 5 year old yellow lab, and we thought that our loving home would be enough to rehabilitate him. We thought that after an initial period of adjustment things would be fine, but the behvaviours became more and more frustrating. We were stressed and we could tell Chance was too. We quickly realized we were in over our heads, but we had made a commitment to Chance and there was no way we were going to give up on him.
Thankfully we learned about Bark Busters. We saw first hand the difference professional and compassionate trainers can make in a dog's behaviour. Our lives soon returned to normal and Chance now has his “forever home”.
Much time has passed, and now we are fortunate enough to be part of the Bark Busters team and follow our passion. We love helping people and their dogs and showing them how wonderful things can be. If you are feeling frustrated with your dogs behaviour, no matter how big or small a problem, there is a very good chance we can make it better. We'd love the opportunity to help you with your dog. Please give us a call so we can begin to make changes together.
We provide dog training and puppy training in Brampton, Caledon, Bolton and the north part of Mississauga.
