I admit I looked at alternatives to Bark Busters, but found after doing my homework that I didn't want someone else training or correcting my pet, I wanted someone to give me the tools to train my own pet, one on one, in safe surroundings.

Our therapist was very informative and helpful. After only a short time with us he noticed a behavior that I found annoying but hadn't really considered an issue,(my pet following me) and he gave us the tools to correct it. It's now a non issue because I know how to handle it.

The follow up and response time is great. And its reassuring to know I have someone to contact with questions or concerns

Bark Busters was a great way to learn and understand how a dog's mind works. The simple training provided was very effective almost immediatley. I was surprised how quickly I got the Alpha position back from Taffy and she is so much happier. I also changed her dog food to Dick Van Patton's Venison & Sweet Potato which give her more nourishment & is for allergic dogs. The Vet agrees. People in our complex are amazed at how happy Taffy is compared to before Rob visited us on Jan.6/2009. She is back to socializing, listening to me though her hearing is starting to go. I am also able to give her treats with the new food that occupy her when I am eating my meals in peace and watching tv. I know when a dog starts to lose their hearing they tend to want to know you are around. I go to the exercise room and she is fine when I return; I go Line Dancing and she is fine when I return so in general she is a much happier dog and I am a much happier owner. Taffy is the breed of dog who likes to please you. I have even got her chasing a stuffed toy that meows but she won't pick it up and we chase the laser toy around our condo which she is enjoying. I also have her back on my treatmill to keep her weight down since she is 11 yrs old.

We are most pleased with the work Rob has done with Cho-Sen particularly. Yesterday, she walked into a room filled with guests and sat down in the middle of the room, quite pleased with herself. That is an absolute first!! Previously, she would have been outside at the far corner of the deck scared out of her mind and growling if anyone other than her three humans approached her.

Wow! I just finished a walk with my dog Kobe... what a difference. He came back each time on recall. Sometimes he needed a Bahhh but usually not. I used the training aid only once and that was because he was distracted by a group of teenagers walking close by... Earlier I heard the two neighbor dogs out in their yard. I let Kobe out on the deck. he started running toward the fence, but one Bah was all he needed and he came running back. he started to verbalize and another correction or two and that was it.....
