Our experience
with bark busters has been very positive. Sadie and us have quite a bit
of work to go, but we have come leaps and bounds from a couple months
ago. Before Bark Buster's Sadie's social circle had dwindled to a few
and now we are going to the dog park and having company over without fear.
We would recommend Rob to any person having an issue with their dog.

Professional
and informative...my dog is however smarter than I and I need more work!
Working on it daily and Oz tests me daily. Have found a few people on
my walks now Bah'ing like crazy! All have had great things to say about
Rob! - Mike & Kathy D.
I loved
it! Rob is great and even though it is a lot to take in at first, he is
always there for follow-ups when I need them. My puggle Abby is taking
to the lessons we learned very well and we saw a change in her behaviour
immediatly...and ours! Thanks so much for everything.

The training
is what the family needed to get on the same page with the dog and understand
the function of our family and of a dogs pack family existence. Especially
when kids are involved it was instrumental to have someone explain the
philosophy to everyone at the same time. Our dog responded within minutes
of time with dog training, it was amazing to see. I can say this has benefited
our entire family and that includes the dog :)

Hi Tricia - I belong to a women’s business networking group and
was talking about my new dog and how he was getting into mischief and
needed some training. One of the ladies mentioned a training organization
called “Bark Busters” and I went on their website and checked
them out.
The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that they guarantee
to come back free of charge if you have reoccurring problems for the life
of the dog. Also if the dog were to go to another owner the training goes
with the dog.... So there is just the initial fee at the beginning. It
seemed to me they must have a good success or they wouldn’t offer
such a deal.
I would never have believed how fast and easy the training was. My dog
did a total reverse after only one afternoon (4 hours in total). We covered
jumping up on people, to not touching food left out, walking on leash,
staying at the top of stairs while I go answer the door, etc etc. It was
awesome. I take the dog out for walks now and he never pulls me at all
!!!! He has learned that I go first down the stairs also. It was just
a matter of pack leadership re-adjustment from him wanting to be in charge
to myself.
As you can see I totally would recommend this training. As you requested
I am sending you the name of the fellow who I dealt with and I am sure
he would be glad to talk to you. Here is his information….

Hi Rob - Just thought I would
let you know how things are so far... Sargent and I went for a walk up
the hill today and I had no problem with him. It is such a delight to
walk him now. There was a lady walking by and she said I am distracting
your dog and I said no that is okay and he just stayed with me and was
great.
We were also outside in the yard trying to clean up branches from the
winter and things the dog had gotten into before you came along. LOL He
never once jumped or bit us which is what he used to do before. He was
great again. He doesn’t even bring up wood anymore. He goes bathroom
and wants right back in with us now.
We have been leaving the gate (that keeps the cats and dog separated)
open and letting the cats come into the front room if they want. Sargent
sits and watches and a couple of times went to go to them and I called
him and he actually listens to me and lays down. He went up to the friendly
cat (K.C.) yesterday and his tail was just a wagging and he sniffed her
and didn’t try to do anything, so I hope they will be buddies real
soon. I am letting them take their time and it looks promising.
Another time the doorbell rang and I told him to stay at the top of the
stairs and he listened. We have also been doing the food tempting lesson
and again he seems to catch on real quick.
I again thank you so much for helping us. Fred loves the dog now and trust
me it was very touchy there for awhile and I know he wanted to give him
back because he was not listening. I knew Sargent was good and it was
us that needed some help to train him and it is just great now. I can’t
say enough about your system. - Georgina M.
Hi Rob,
I want to know what you did to my dog!!!!!!! He is a totally different
dog. I can not believe it. You did something. Ha Ha.
Last night he tried 2x to jump on the couch and we did the Bah thing and
that was it.He hasn’t even tried today at all. I am in disbelief.
I tried the food on the table with a piece of ham and left it for ½
an hour while I did dishes and cleaned up and read the paper. Once he
tried to get close and again I did the Bah and he backed up and sat down
and then laid down and ignored it. He never did try again. I can’t
believe how fast he responds.
Another thing is he has not brought up even one stick. We let him out
when we say now and he goes out and right back up stairs.
I also went out this morning and told him not to come downstairs with
the correct commands of course and he listened.
One big thing that Fred and I have noticed is he is so much more calm.
I am sure that before we were stressing him to the limit. The poor thing,
he probably did not know what to think of the situation and just was acting
out. If we had only known. But we do now and are on the right path.
I really want to thank you for your help. We will practice every day and
I am sure it will only get better. Thank you again - Georgina M.
It's still early but we are
very happy and people around us notice a huge difference.

After many attempts with
other tapes, lessons, animal behaviouralists...Bark Busters has been the
best. Rob was amazing and we are seeing improvements in our dogs. It has
been hard but rewarding... Thank you Bark Buster for helping many frustrated
owners make us and our pets happier!! - Jamie
We were very pleased with
the professional, cordial and personable and sensitive trainer that we
had. Rob Scheel is an intelligent and sensitive trainer. He did an excellent
job.

I am absolutely thrilled
with the care and attention I received and continue to receive from Rob
and Barkbusters. I have recommended Rob to 10 people and I know of one
person who has contacted him. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. - Marilyn B.
Rob was excellent at taking
control of the situation with Hershey. We were amazed at how quickly he
was able to demonstrate how to get instant results with her, particularly
how Hershey responds around visitors at the door! We had just had Hershey
at the vet to get her nails trimmed. While there, she behaved so badly
that the vet had to have a full cage on her and it took 3 assistants to
hold her down.
Rob demonstrated that, by using the Bark Buster method, we can control
the dog without her feeling so threatened. It was amazing to watch him
touch her paws and by using his voice commands, he/I was able to bring
the clippers up to her paws to begin to show her that WE could trim her
nails without getting bitten. Wow.
Taking Hershey for walks has always been an embarrassment and a challenge
but here too, Rob conveyed that by using the Bark Buster methods, we had
her walking at our side and paying attention to us in no time flat.
I would strongly recommend Bark Busters to anyone with a problem dog.
Having a trainer come to your house, where the difficulties occur, is
a tremendous help. Thanks for your help Rob!
- Cynthia P.
Bark Busters guided my family
and myself towards a happier dog and happier us as well in the process!
Rob has been great and the time he spent with us and Mushu taught us a
lot -- about ourselves and the dog world. After our training, it's been
more of a joy to see that Mushu is more relaxed now and obedient. Despite
his stubborn streak, the Bark Buster way has remained very effective in
our day-to-day activities with him. Thanks Rob!!!!

I just wanted to let you know how
stoked I am after our session today. After you left, Libby and I had a
siesta...and yes, she was on the floor. We had a great controlled walk
following that for about 45 minutes. During that time we walked up onto
the dyke at a spot where there are stairs and someone was walking their
large muscular dog off leash on the dyke. The dog was at the top of the
stairs that we were approaching and it was intimidating for me!. Libby
was great, she was focused on me. I know my corrections should have been
better, maybe quicker, and a little more fluid. but I get it
I believe that sometimes people don't get enough positive reinforcement,
so let me be one of the many I am sure to say THANK YOU for your insights,
for sharing your knowledge, for changing our lives for the better.

Rob was great. He injected
humor and amazing in depth psychology into a session that truly changed
the way we deal with our dogs and they are already showing significant
improvements. Rob was awesome and I really thought that the entire approach
was amazing. No yelling, no physical contact ... Thank you Rob! -

Hello Rob - You suggested
a few things to try with Chase and now he is a changed dog! I have gotten
him to obey hand signals plus speaking commands. We have had Chase 1 ½
years (Chase is 3 years old); he is finally heeling with and without the
leash!... If you recall he had taken a deer down in the yard. The day
after my consultation he encountered a deer on our walk I called for him
to COME and he stopped in his tracks looked at me then the deer and came
sauntering back to me. I was one proud dog owner at that moment and ever
so grateful for your wonderful and effective advice. I want to thank you
for your time. - Dawn M
