Wow!!!! I can't believe the change in Shade already!! I really thought that training this out of control dog (as per the Humane Society) was going to be a huge headache. Although we still have a long way to go, Shade is much easier to control and myself, my husband and my children are much more relaxed around him, for he is much more relaxed too!!

The methods were very easy to understand. Nothing terribly complicated, but it has been working! At first I found using the word Baaaa to be quite funny, but I was willing to try whatever was necessary. It was amazing how it worked. I now use it on my coworkers :) hahaha....

My dogs have both responded well. Sam is still a little traumatized, but overall we are heading in the right direction. No more jumping, barking, or bad behaviour. As for Hayden, he is doing really well. I think we needed that confidence boost on Friday and clearly it worked. We haven't had any problems at home (slight barking but nothing major). We took him for a long walk on Sunday and he is getting the training down there. He started to bite the leash a bit after about 30 minutes because I think he was getting frustrated but we didn't give in so that he doesn't get a "win."

I was absolutely stunned when I saw how quickly my rambunctious Lab responded to this training system. Everything that Monica patiently explained to me beforehand made perfect sense - once you understand how the canine social system works, everything just falls into place. I also have to mention that, by the end of the session, with my dog hanging on my every word, I realized that I was free to genuinely LIKE him again - instead of being angry at his over-enthusiastic way of greeting people at the door and his inability to focus on my commands. Buddy suffered from separation anxiety to the extreme. We tried many things to help him but it seemed he was getting worse. I called Trisha with a lot of anxiety myself. Right away she calmed me down and told me buddy would be Ok. After working with Bark Busters program for a couple of months and Trisha and Steve going above the call of duty I am so happy to report Buddy is doing very well. Daryl was amazing. He taught us how to train ourselves to be able to train Clark. The little chain bags effectiveness has wore off for Clark. He does not react to them being dropped but still to some levels listens to our voice command. Clark has improved immensely from where he was but still has a ways to go. Hi Tim - Walter and I want you to know how pleased we are with the positive results we have received from your great techniques. Charlie is doing exceptional well, his behaviour has taken a 150 degree positive turn. From your very first visit to our home Charlie was more relaxed and happy. There is absolutely no signs of the aggessive behaviour he exhibited prior to your instructions, and most important we are no longer worried or afraid that he will bite us when we give him his medicine or bathe him. Before your visits to our home we were seriously contemplating whether or not we would have to return him to his prior owner, as we did not want a dog that was aggressive and may bite, You taught us to better understand what Charlie needed from us in order for him to be a happy contented dog.

As for wee Brodie, he still likes to test us from time to time but...he is slowly but most definetly begining to understand who the pack leaders are!

Hello Sue - I just wanted to say thank you! It was amazing to see the results so quickly, and no physical force and in such little time. Since you left my dogs have both slept all day near me. With me just saying Bahh most of the time they listen. When I left the dogs loose in the living room to get the mail I just said bahh when they went to come down the stairs and they went and laid down... I took Bella into the backyard and practiced having her follow me and corrected her when needed, than went out front for a little walk we went about 5 driveways down and she actually walked behind me with a loose lead and I only corrected her once... I still take both dogs out to the back yard on leash. They are doing really well with that as well...Thankyou once again. - Crystal N.
